- I grew up in a home surrounded by love and food and have been cooking since I could walk. The kitchen is my playground. I like grocery stores in strange towns. I tear recipes out of magazines in doctor's offices. Flour and eggs are art supplies for me. I am a firm believer in the power of butter. I have 27 spatulas and 42 different colors of sprinkles. And I dream of someday opening a small bakery with brightly colored walls and penny candy. This is my journey.

I just found your blog on Mango and Ginger - I am SO glad! You make the most creative cupcakes!!! What do you do with all of them? Where do you find all of these recipes?

Thanks! All the cupcakes go to work, half to my work the other half to my husband's work. Everyone looks forward to "cupcake Mondays!" Recipes are often made up from other recipes or from other bakers blogs. Its so much fun.
